A Visit From Grandpa and Grandma

Yes, Grandpa and Grandma made the big trek all the way from Colorado to see their little Emma. Emma was thrilled to see them. From the moment they arrived they were doing fun stuff with Emma. We started their visit with a trip to story time and lunch at Islands. It didn't take Emma but a few moments to get back in the groove with Grandpa's silliness, and Grandma's songs.

We took Grandpa and Grandma to the Zoo as I was most anxious to see the new Elephant Odyssey exhibit all my Zoo friends keep telling me how great it is. I was not at all disappointed. It was amazing and I can't wait to go back with Donald.

Of course we took the long way round to get there, but Emma didn't mind as there were lots of animals to see on the way, and Grandpa and Grandma were great pals to hang out with on the walk.

Once we got there we were overwhelmed by how fantastic the whole experience was. There was lots to learn discover and climb on. There was loads of statue of prehistoric animals and Emma loved each one!

Grandma and Grandpa really enjoyed the exhibit too. It was a really fun time with lots to do and I highly recommend it!

Stopping to have a drink before heading to more fun stuff to do! Emma loved all the toys you could climb on and fun things to discover.

The elephants now have an amazing enclosure to roam around in and enjoy.
We did get to see elephants up close getting manicures, but forgot to take photos. But I know we will be back soon to get more photos with Daddy!
