Christmas Morning

Here are a few pictures we were able to recover from Christmas. Unfortunately the pictures are gone from Christmas Eve. So no images of Emma and I reading Christmas stories in bed, or busy elves hard at work in Grandpa's living room.

Grandma and Grandpa gave Emma her first American Girl doll. It's an Bitty Baby with extra clothes, a backpack, and bear as well as beautiful wood handcrafted pram for her baby and a wonderful soft Fancy Nancy Doll with a few Fancy Nancy books, wood food and dishes for her kitchen. Mommy and Daddy gave her a kitchen, Rodey which Emma calls the purple Reindeer, blocks and building toys. Uncle Kevin and Aunt Andra gave a fun tent and tepee set and Aunt Linda and Uncle Stewart gave a wonderful red toaster and fabulous books. There were loads of other gifts too. And Emma has been pleased and busy with every single thing! It's hard to believe that in just a few short weeks Emma will be two and I already have a ton of gifts to wrap up. But as my good friend Julie put it.."She's only going to turn 2 once, so go for it!"

Emma has discovered the wonderful world of digital cameras. After you take her picture she wants to see it. She thinks it's so great getting to see pictures only moments after its been taken. Looking at pictures with Aunt Linda.
Helping Daddy open his big gift from Grandma and Grandpa.

Donald was so pleased!! He has been wanting a mini laptop since they came out! Grandma and Grandpa did a great job picking out the right gift for Daddy!!

Emma passing out gifts to Aunt Linda. Emma was a great help to mommy with passing out the gifts all morning, the only problem was she would give away her own gits and she just couldn't sit still long enough to open her gifts. So in the end everyone just pitched in and helped open Emma's gifts. She loved watching everyone open gifts and was thrilled with all the excitement.

Helping Aunt Andra and Uncle Kevin open up gifts. Not sure if this one was for her or not, but she sure loved every minute!
