Should we make this blog private?

We are trying to decide if we should make this blog private. As all both of our readers know, we put a fair amount of private information on here and are trying to decide if we should be sharing this with the world or just with family and friends. We have no desire to exclude ANYONE we know. If we turn this blog private, you would need to email to request access. We will grant access to ANYONE who asks, but wanted to know if that would be a pain for all both of our readers. Comments and emails welcome!!!
