Fairy Festival

On Saturday while Daddy was out racing sailboats with Grandpa. Emma, Mommy, and Grandma headed north to Encinitas for the Fairy Festival at Quail Botanical Gardens. I had already decided that Emma would make a wonderful fairy for Halloween, and that she could get some extra time in her costume if I got it in time for the Fairy Festival.

So just 3 days before the festival her costume arrived from Chasing Fireflies. If you have a little person in you life and want the cutest costumes and clothes ever for your boy or girl then check them out!! A must for any parent!
Emma loved her new outfit the moment we opened it up and couldn't wait to show it off to daddy when he walked in the door that night.

Grandma was equally pleased with the transformation of her little Emma once we arrived at Quail Gardens. We have never taken Emma despite the 2 years we lived only miles from it. We have seen loads of great images from the Mauser blog with their adorable little boys and always thought how dreamy, but never got around to going. The Fairy Festival was the perfect time to finally make the trek back up to North County for our first visit. There were loads of adorable fairies running all over, but being completely bias I thought Emma was by far the most precious.

We had a wonderful walk all throughout the gardens and made our way down to the Children's garden where all the festivities were taking place. It was a swarm of fairies and even the little boys had joined in on the fun of dressing up as pirates and such. Super cute all of them.

After getting in some great shots of my little fairy. We let her loose to play with the other fairies. She loved the bubble wands the best!
I don't think it gets any more girl than this.
She also was very excited to meet the fairy Queen and sat and talked with her a bit.
Then it was time to go home. We started walking back but a golf cart stopped and asked us if we would like a ride back to the overflow parking lot. We were so happy to take the ride due to the heat and mommy melting. The people at Quail Gardens are so nice and it's an enchanting place to visit and take wonderful photos, especially when your in the company of fairies!
